About the Team
Joseph Meier
Joe graduated in 1995 from Indiana University with a bachelors of science degree in Biology. He then went on to receive his Masters in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. Joe then graduated in 2001 from Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Joe has been an Outpatient Orthopedic physical therapist for 23 years. He has treated all populations from Olympic, professional, collegiate, high school athletes (Various sports: Golf, Basketball, soccer, baseball, football) to weekend warriors.
He is certified through the Titleist Performance Institute as a Medical level 2 and Fitness level 2 specialist for Golf. He has also received certifications in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment Level and and the Functional Movement Screen Level 1 and 2.
Joe has a passion for learning how the body can heal itself and not just return to baseline, but to take it to an optimal level.
When Joe is not learning new rehabilitation techniques, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar, basketball, and dreaming about making the PGA tour!
